Mateusz Klich has begun the journey back to Leeds United for the delayed start of his pre-season after international duty with Poland.
The 29-year-old started every one of the Whites ’ 48 Championship matches last season and then followed that up with two Euro 2020 qualifiers for Poland in early June.
Klich, like Pontus Jansson, Jamie Shackleton and Ezgjan Alioski, has been given a delayed start date for pre-season because of his international exertions.
Using Instagram this morning, Klich uploaded an image of himself poolside at The Ritz-Carlton hotel in Wolfsburg, Germany.
Klich is expected to return to Thorp Arch for a Monday return and, again, be a key component in the heart of the team’s midfield.
