Mateusz Klich's defiant message as Leeds United get back to work ahead of Millwall clash

Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich has issued a defiant message as he and his teammates step up their preparations for Tuesday night's clash against Millwall.

Defeats in their last two Championship matches have seen Leeds' gap over third place cut to four points, but the belief remains in the squad and Klich has issued a rally call.

The Pole is the latest of several players to post his new Nike football boots on Instagram and he is clearly hoping his new wheels could be the answer to all Marcelo Bielsa's problems.

Klich has posted a video of his new boots in his Stories along with a message to the fans: 'Shooting boots arrived, don't worry'.

Klich has been ever present since Marcelo Bielsa took over as Leeds United head coach. Last season he made 50 appearances in all competitions, scoring 10 goals. This season he has made 30 appearances so far and scored four goals, three of which have come in the Championship including a brace against Middlesbrough.

Leeds United chalked up just one goal in January, an own goal from West Brom's Semi Ajayi on New Year's Day.

Klich has some time to wear in his new boots to make sure he is scoring goals again soon, with the clash against the Lions being pushed back four days from Saturday to Tuesday owing to the Lions' FA Cup commitments.
