Mateusz Klich has backed a summer loan deal for young Leeds United teammate Mateusz Bogusz.
The 19-year-old is expected to head out on loan this summer after signing a new contract at Elland Road, with a need for first-team football in order to aid his development.
Speaking to Pilka Nozna, Klich said he expects his compatriot to depart the Whites on a temporary basis this summer.
Yet Klich talked up Bogusz' potential and said that he needs experience.
Klich said: "He's a very good and talented boy. I talked to him and I know he wants to, and probably will go to play and gain experience."
The 30-year-old midfielder was also asked about his own future in Leeds, being asked if he 'has found his place on earth'.
Klich did not rule out staying in Leeds when he ends his career but says, with four years left on his contract, his main focus is on playing.
He said: "I have a contract with the club until 2024, so I will be 34 then, which is a lot.
"But will I stay here permanently? I don’t know, it will be a long time before my career ends."
The Poland international revealed that his exceptional amount of performances over the last two seasons have as much to do with his past career at the likes of FC Twente and FC Kaiserslautern as it does with Marcelo Bielsa's intensive training methods.
He said: "I've been building endurance for years. In Germany, later in the Netherlands.
"There was also experience and awareness of working on oneself, plus very good physical preparation in the last two seasons in Leeds."
