Mateusz Bogusz has news on his fitness from Leeds United's training ground

Mateusz Bogusz was last seen hobbling off for Leeds United in Sydney after running the show against Western Sydney Wanderers for 45 minutes.

The teenager has showed glimpses of quality with the under-23 team after his arrival last season, but Saturday night in Australia was the first time he commanded a first-team game.

However, after scoring the match’s first goal and then running the game for the first half, Bogusz faded in the second period before eventually limping off in the last 10 minutes.

The Whites, who lost Kemar Roofe to an ankle injury in the same game, have not released any information about Bogusz’s issue.

However, in a new Instagram post, the midfielder has handed the club a fitness boost with a picture of himself in boots.

The image would suggest Bogusz has got over any lasting issue from Down Under and has been partaking in training as usual at Thorp Arch this week.

The news will be a boost to Whites and their fans, who have already been licking their wounds in light of Roofe’s new problem.
