Mateo Kovacic agrees with teammate Hakim Ziyech over the difference Thomas Tuchel has made at Chelsea.
Tuchel took over from Frank Lampard late last month and he is off to a flying start, picking up seven points from his first three games, including back-to-back wins.
Chelsea got the second of those wins on Thursday night, beating London rivals Tottenham away from home thanks to Jorginho's first-half penalty.
And after the game, midfielder Kovacic - who has started all three of Tuchel's games so far - spoke about the impact the new head coach has had so far and the differing approach from Lampard's time at the club.
“I think we’ve improved a lot in the last three games, we’ve got seven points," he told the club website. "But we need to go game by game and try to be as up as possible and I think we can do it.
“I think we have little problems – we didn’t score against Burnley as well. In the last 15 minutes we were 1-0 up and it could be even more.
“This is a thing we need to improve, to finish games. I think this is one thing we will work a lot on.
“He [Tuchel] explained to us what he wants. It’s exactly that – to play fast forward, to create chances, to be in the opposition’s half.

“I think we’ve improved a lot in the last three games but I think we can be even better & be even more confident.
“In the games coming, we will be even better and we need to even better because we can do it.”
Kovacic's teammate Ziyech agrees, speaking earlier this week about the impact Tuchel has had and how the German is making the Blues a more attacking outfit.
"I think you will see a Chelsea that attacks more and controls the game more," he told the club's official website. "That’s what we’ve tried to do in the last two games, to play with possession and from there try to attack a lot.
He added: "It’s been good so far. We’ve had a good week.
"It’s not always nice when a manager leaves and a new one comes in but he’s brought his new ideas and everybody is excited to work under him.
"The training has been different and in the last two games our formation and playing style was different as well so he really has his own ideas about the game.
"For us, it’s important to adapt quickly to it, to focus on the games and to follow the information the coach is giving us so we play how he wants us to play."
