The (clearly unsubstantiated) rumours that my favourite director Tim Burton will be lending his unique styles to a film version of Lucas Arts' 1998 PC graphic adventure Grim Fandango after he completes Sweeny Todd (based on the man I was once told was an in-law) has caused me to contemplate the potential best pairings of game and cinéaste.
