Match of the Day running order revealed with surprising Chelsea vs Sheffield United decision

Another action-packed day of Premier League action, featuring goals and controversial refereeing decisions, has made this evening’s Match of the Day a must-watch.

The day’s early kick-off saw Manchester United held to a 1-1 draw by Southampton at St Mary’s, with Dan James’ early goal cancelled out by Saints defender Jannick Vestergaard.

Liverpool maintained their winning start to the new campaign with a 3-0 victory at Burnley whilst Manchester City remained hot on the Reds’ heels with a 4-0 triumph at home to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Elsewhere, Sheffield United battled back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Chelsea and Watford claimed their first point of the season with a 1-1 draw at St James’ Park against Newcastle United.

With so many goals and talking points, Match of the Day is not one to be missed this evening and Gary Lineker has now revealed the running order for this evening’s show - which can be watched on BBC One at 22.30.
