Match of the Day running order revealed: When you can see Newcastle and who the pundits are

Newcastle United’s creditable draw at Molineux is seventh on Match of the Day tonight.

The latest running order for Saturday’s Match of the Day has been revealed as Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the Premier League.

Liverpool find themselves second in the agenda despite moving 16 points clear at the top of the table after beating Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 in the day’s late kick-off.

Roberto Firmino bagged the game’s only game to ensure the Premier League leaders moved one step closer to the title with a massive three points.

That result became all the more important when Leicester City lost to Southampton at 3pm, which is first in the billing on Match of the Day this evening.

Despite taking the lead through Dennis Praet, the Foxes were subject to a brilliant comeback as Stuart Armstrong and then Danny Ings completed a huge victory for Ralph Hassenhuttl’s men.

United, meanwhile, drew at Wolves and are effectively last on the programme given that the Friday night match at Bramall Lane is the final match.

Pundits are Jermaine Jenas and Danny Murphy for the first Saturday MOTD of 2020.

All eight Premier League matches will be shown on Match of the Day from 10:30pm on BBC1. The Magpies will be on around 11.30pm.

Match of the Day running order

Leicester City 1-2 Southampton

Tottenham Hotspur 0-1 Liverpool

Manchester United 4-0 Norwich City

Chelsea 3-0 Burnley

Everton 1-0 Brighton

Arsenal 1-1 Crystal Palace

Wolves 1-1 Newcastle United

Sheffield United 1-0 West Ham
