Match of the Day running order revealed as Man City fans made to wait despite four-goal haul

Manchester City’s 4-1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion will be on third on Match of the Day on Saturday evening, behind a six-goal thriller at Goodison Park and Chelsea's seven-goal haul.

Pep Guardiola’s side were in free-flowing fashion at the Amex Stadium as Phil Foden continued his impressive form with two goals.

A late penalty from Brighton’s Alexis Mac Allister ruined the clean sheet but the win sends City second in the Premier League, two points behind Chelsea.

With some breath-taking games taking place on Saturday, City will be on third on BBC’s Match of the Day which will be aired at 10.30pm on BBC One.

Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker took to social media to reveal the full running order of the show.
