Match of the Day running order revealed as Man City and Liverpool lead the way

Newcastle's low-key draw with Watford will have United fans staying up late to catch the game on Match of the Day.

United are last up on MOTD, which is dominated by the league's two dominant sides. Man City lead the way with their defeat of Brighton while Liverpool are second with the win at Burnley. Newcastle will occupy the last slot.

Another action-packed day of Premier League action, featuring goals and controversial refereeing decisions, has made this evening’s Match of the Day a must-watch.

The day’s early kick-off saw Manchester United held to a 1-1 draw by Southampton at St Mary’s, with Dan James’ early goal cancelled out by Saints defender Jannick Vestergaard.

Elsewhere, Sheffield United battled back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Chelsea.

With so many goals and talking points, Match of the Day is not one to be missed this evening and Gary Lineker has now revealed the running order for this evening’s show - which can be watched on BBC One at 22.30.
