Match of the Day running order for the Premier League’s finale

The Premier League season for 2018-19 has come to a close with an action-packed final day, where 36 goals were scored across 10 matches.

Manchester City’s 4-1 victory over Brighton saw Pep Guardiola’s side lift the title for the second consecutive season and that match, alongside Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Wolves, unsurprisingly opens the show.

Cardiff City’s shock 2-0 victory over Manchester United then follows, with an eight-goal thriller between Crystal Palace and Bournemouth then taking centre stage - and helping to smash the record for the most goals scored in a single Premier League season.

Newcastle United 2019/20 odds revealed: Magpies at 16/1 to finally end trophy drought

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s brace against Burnley in a 3-1 win for Arsenal, which saw the Gunners striker share the Premier League’s Golden Boot, is up next, followed by Tottenham Hotspur’s 2-2 draw with Everton.

Newcastle United, despite a 4-0 win over Fulham , are on third from last, with Southampton’s 1-1 draw against Huddersfield Town being the penultimate match and the show finishes with Leicester City’s goalless draw with Chelsea.
