Match of the Day running order and why time for Premier League highlights has changed

The 2019/20 Premier League season continues to surprise and fans can see the best of the action tonight on Match of the Day.

Chelsea, who were not expected to challenge for the top four necessarily, opened the day with their sixth consecutive win as they beat Crystal Palace 2-0 at Stamford Bridge.

Burnley hammered West Ham United 3-0, while Newcastle United and Everton managed to secure victories over Bournemouth and Southampton respectively. Watford also pulled off a win at Norwich City on Friday evening.

But the big surprise of the day came at Tottenham as Sheffield United held Mauricio Pochettino's men to a 1-1 draw.

Leicester City, meanwhile, defeated Arsenal 2-0 to go up to the heady heights of second in the table ahead of Manchester City's clash at Liverpool tomorrow.

Gary Lineker has now revealed the running order for the show on BBC One tonight and the fact that there is a changed time of 11pm. This is due to the Festival of Remembrance.

Match of the Day running order: Leicester City vs Arsenal, Burnley vs West Ham, Chelsea vs Crystal Palace, Southampton vs Everton, Newcastle vs Bournemouth, Tottenham vs Sheffield United, Norwich City vs Watford.
