Liverpool will be up first on tonight's episode of Match of the Day, after they extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table to 11 points with a 2-1 win over Brighton at Anfield.
Earlier in the day Man City had slipped up, drawing 2-2 at Newcastle despite twice going ahead, as Jonjo Shelvey scored a superb late equaliser for Steve Bruce's men.
It was a bad day for Chelsea, too, as they were beaten 1-0 at home by West Ham, a result which eases the pressure on under-fire Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini.
Tottenham made it three wins out of three under Jose Mourinho, but once again showed some worrying defensive vulnerability, conceding twice late on in a 3-2 win over Bournemouth.
Crystal Palace continued their excellent away form with a win a Burnley, while Watford's woeful run continued as Southampton came from a goal down to score a big three points at St. Mary's.
