Matalan has shared an important update with its customers.
The store has announced it is reopening selected stores with "enhanced health and safety measures and strict social distancing guidelines."
Matalan has said the reopening comes given the change in government guidance on May 1 to include Homeware as essential retail in England.
The store said: "We will initially be re-opening our spacious stores with large Homeware departments and a Click and Collect service.
"These stores are all located on out of town retail parks, with parking outside, enabling us to effectively adhere to social distancing guidelines.
"High street stores, stores in shopping centres, our clearance stores and our stores in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales will remain closed."

Some of the changes in store include the following:
- Reduced the number of customers allowed in store and changed the layout so you have more space
- Introduced floor markers so you can keep your distance
- Provided hand sanitiser and cleaning products so you can clean your basket or trolley
- Given all staff personal protective equipment
- Trained all our team to support social distancing
- Temporarily closed our cafes, toilets and baby nurturing rooms
- In store safety marshalls
- Signage and radio announcements to support safer shopping
- Introduction of new screens to our till areas
- Cleaning throughout the day, including regularly disinfecting high touch points such as door handles, lift buttons and hand-rails
