The Masters finally gets underway on Thursday afternoon at Augusta and defending champion Dustin Johnson has been drawn alongside Lee Westwood and US Amateur champion Tyler Strafaci.
Rory McIlroy is still hoping to complete the career Grand Slam and revealed how he’s been energised by a visit to Tiger Woods’ home a few weeks ago at his pre-tournament press conference. The Northern Irishman will be paired with Ryder Cup teammate Jon Rahm and world No 6 Xander Schauffele.
Bryson DeChambeau, whose gunslinging driving left the range awestruck earlier this week, will attempt to tame Augusta alongside a past champion in Adam Scott and Max Homa.

Meanwhile, Jordan Spieth, who ended his trophy drought at last week’s Valero Texas Open, enters the first round as one of the firm favourites to clinch a second Green Jacket. He will be paired with Cameron Smith, who finished second last year, and PGA Champion Collin Morikawa.
