Masters 2019 golf: Dates, odds, predictions, TV coverage and past winners

Thanks to the new PGA Tour calendar for 2019, The Masters begins a run of four major championships in four consecutive months.

March's Players Championship, won by Rory McIlroy, teed-up the season's biggest and best events nicely as the Northern Irishman triumphed on a stunning Sunday at TPC Sawgrass.

McIlroy turned his focus to the career Grand Slam at Augusta following a 15th win on the PGA Tour.

Patrick Reed is the defending champion after claiming a first major of his career in 2018, while Tiger Woods warned that his preparations were "right on track".

The Masters is the first major of the year and will take place between April 11-14.

Prize money

The purse for last year's Masters was $11million (£8.3m), with Patrick Reed banking a tidy $1.98m (£1.5m), with the purse for 2019 set to be announced in the coming weeks​.
