Plans have been put forward for the multi-million pound Craigforth Campus development on the site of the Prudential insurance building in Stirling.
Glasgow based property developer and investor Ambassador Group has submitted two planning applications for offices, a hotel, leisure facilities, retail and housing on the 49.5 hectare site.
It proposals would involve the demolition of the Prudential building that has been a landmark on the M9 since it was built in the 1970s.
Ambassador Group intends to build a new Grade A office building on the north of the site. On the central section currently occupied by Prudential, it would build a hotel, retail and food units, a distillery, offices and residential flats.
The south part of the site would have a mix of low-rise housing, including a care home and supported living.
The plans also involve walking, cycling and jogging routes with public access to the riverside and the Craigforth Crag around which the campus would be built.
