He was subsequently left out of Tottenham's tour of Asia amid speculation over his future.
PSG and Juventus have both been linked with the England left-back but no bid has materialised.

Rose's return will come as a boost to Pochettino ahead of the new season, with Ben Davies continuing his recovery from surgery.
And it seems his appearance in a Spurs shirt against Real Madrid has excited fans, who would be keen for the left-back to stay in north London.
