A finalist in this year's series of hit BBC show Masterchef: The Professionals has given high praise to a Glasgow restaurant.
Liam Rogers was in town for dinner on Wednesday, and visited west end favourite Ka Pao for the occasion.
The chef, who is currently working at the Strathearn restaurant in Gleneagles Hotel, couldn’t decide what to choose from the stunning small plates menu - so did what any sensible person would do and opted for the lot!

A particular standout for him was the mouth-watering caramel fried chicken.

He said: “We had the whole menu, we couldn’t pick, so we ordered absolutely everything. Langoustines, crab, oysters … that chicken is so good.”
And while he was going to the toilet, one of the chefs spotted him passing by.
“I heard someone say, hello smiler. I asked him what he meant. He said he’d been watching me on Masterchef - and I needed to smile more," he said.
