Masterchef star 'wins the internet' with X-rated joke - and people are speechless

An Australian Masterchef contestant shocked fans when she gave a naughty response to a post doing the rounds on social media.

Julie Goodwin, Australia's first Masterchef winner, couldn't help but get involved when a woman asked her followers on Twitter : "What’s something you could say both during sex and while cooking?"

The saucy tweet was shared by Swedish Twitter user Lina Lundin and has since been liked by nearly 17,000 people and has received over 19,000 responses.

While it was bound to conjure up some raunchy responses, no one expected 49-year-old Julie to give the X-rated answer that she did.

Fans were shocked by her answer (Masterchef Australia)

Julie's answer had people saying she had 'won the internet' after she added: "If a skewer comes out clean, it’s ready to eat."

Her followers were shocked by what she said, with one saying: "I did NOT expect that."

Another added: "I just spat out my water reading that."

A third commented: "You win the internet."

Whilst a fourth said: "Julie you little vixen! Love it!"

Since the innuendo was shared online it has received a number of other hilarious responses like: "This isn't going great, let's just order pizza."

Another read: "Are you allergic to nuts."

A third person commented: "This needs more wine."

And others added: "I don't think it's supposed to be that colour" and "If you don't know what you're doing, I might as well do it myself."

Julie took home the crown as Masterchef winner in 2009 in the first season of the show, beating Poh Ling Yeow for the title.

Earlier this year Julie was praised for opening up about her struggles with depression, admitting that she'd spent five weeks in a mental health facility after suffering to a point where she couldn't sleep or eat.

On Facebook she explained: "I felt like I was trapped under a wet woollen blanket and every move was a massive effort … Anxiety kept coursing through me like electricity. Eventually all of this became so much that I just had nothing left."
