MasterChef Australia: Back To Win 2025 has officially come to an end. So, to get you up to date on who the MasterChef Australia: Back To Win winner is, here’s your cheat sheet!
Hey, Chef! This article contains MasterChef Australia: Back To Win 2025 spoilers. Proceed with caution.
Unfortunately, it’s time to hang up your tongs and aprons, ‘cos MasterChef Australia: Back To Win 2025 has come to a close. On Monday, August 11, our final three went down to the final two, and on Tuesday, August 12, we got our winner.
And for folks who haven’t been kept up with the season, our final two included Callum Hann and Laura Sharrad.

However, after a truly, truly difficult grand finale, the MasterChef Australia 2025 winner is LAURA!!!!

Who is the MasterChef Australia: Back To Win 2025 winner?
After creating an edible garden extremely similar to Filipino culinary icon Miko Aspiras, Laura was awarded MasterChef Australia winner for 2025!

Prior to Laura’s ~official~ win, some fans predicted her victory earlier in the season.
How? Her screentime.

The prediction first came to light on the golden subreddit, r/MasterChefAU, where one fan questioned why there was “so much focus” on the season six OG.
“Just a curious question, I’ve only been watching [MasterChef Australia] from like when Diana won, and I don’t really have much context of the previous seasons, but every episode she has a considerably longer screen time than almost anyone else,” u/var_usernameinput wrote.
“I understand she’s a good chef and one of the oldies, she grew up on the show etc, but skipping entire dishes made by others just to talk about her dish for so long is kind of frustrating
“Also, none of the others are shown that much, not even Andre or Callum or Sarah, who are all, I’m assuming, just as famous during their seasons. Heck, I knew who Andre was and I didn’t even watch the earlier seasons.”
Why is there so much focus on Laura?

“It’s pretty clear they’re setting her up as the winner. Third time lucky and all that,” one person wrote, referencing her previous return to the show in season 12.
“I was thinking about the same thing. It seems every episode, she has chances to talk. Quite frankly, back to win 2nd time is cool. Back to win the 3rd time is a bit much already. Extra focus on her is even worse,” another Redditor penned.
“Right?! I feel like they’re pushing/wanting her to take the win as she has come 2nd twice before. So they’re trying to push the ‘third time’s a charm’ thing. It makes me actually NOT want her to win at all,” wrote a third.
