A massive truck downed cables and blocked the road in a housing estate in Dublin 12 earlier today.
The incident happened when the truck knocked off low lying cables on Stannaway Drive in Crumlin.
Dublin Fire Brigade were called to the scene to attend, and local traffic was disrupted.
The public are often advised to be careful when cables are downed in housing estates, and to avoid the scene as emergency services attend.
Dublin Fire Brigade said: "Stannaway Drive Dublin 12, currently blocked after cables were downed. Local traffic disruption."
