If you loving nothing better than belting out a powerballad in the shower or air guitring while you're waiting a traffic lights, there is an event about to launch in Newcastle that should be music to your ears.
Described as a festival style mass singalong, Kroud Karaoke is gearing up for a huge debut in the city on Saturday, July 13 at an ideal location for a big crowd - Stack.
The event will take over the popular Pilgrim Street shipping container village for what is sure to be a night to remember.
Expect karaoke classics with lyrics on a giant screen, sing-offs live on stage for the best and worst singers and a battle of the sexes.
There will also be on the spit prizes and confetti cannons - sounds like our kind of night!
Creator Chris Schrouder told Chronicle Live "It’s been a good few years in the making but finally we’re ready to launch and we couldn’t think of a better venue as a platform than Stack as it’s a very credible cool venue.
"I have DJ’d in Newcastle for 30 years working in venues such as Blu Bambu, City Vaults and most recently Tiger Tiger and I've brought my son on board Alex who has loads of promotion experience and a social media guru."
The Kroud Karaoke launch at Stack will be FREE entry and is set to get going at 7pm.
