Massive rats have been invading Brit homes and feasting on left-over takeaways during lockdown with restaurants shut.
The hungry rodents that are regularly around a foot-and-a-half long have gone in search of food and it has led them into the houses of horrified homeowners.
Often they can get in through drains and bathrooms.
Now with summer approaching and outdoor barbecues, experts are predicting an explosion of 150million rats that will be dining out on the food that is wasted.
Left-over scraps attract vermin and during lockdown rats have headed to people’s homes with restaurants and bars closed.
Chris, of We Care Pest Control Hull told The Sun: "When you think about it, everyone's been eating at home.

"Lots of people are getting takeaways and the bins are being overfilled. Rats chew through the bin bags and get through under the decking."
He said that rats of one-and-a-half feet are not unusual.
"People are really surprised when they see how big a rat can get," he said.
"When they're pregnant, for example, they're very big. And rats live for two years, so by the end of their lives, they can be big."

He told the story of a woman, aged 99, who ended up moving in with her son due to all the flies and insects in her bathroom - before he found out it was a dead rat under the toilet, that had probably been there for six months.
"The family was killing 10 bluebottles a day. I spent half an hour in the loft, but I couldn't see or smell a dead rat," he said.
"Then as I searched the bathroom, I saw a tiny, tiny little hole by the toilet.
"It was immediately obvious from the smell there was a dead rat in there."
