Massive queues form outside popular Dublin nightclub for second time this weekend

A massive queue has formed outside a popular Dublin nightclub for second time this weekend.

The Camden is set for a busy night once again as the queue has been congregating since 9:30pm this evening.

The crowds flocked to the South side street earlier tonight with the hopes of enjoying Ireland's much-anticipated freedom weekend.

This shot, taken from Devitt's on Saturday night, was described as “never seen anything like this before” by a pub-goer.

The iconic spot goes late every Thursday, Friday and Saturday until 3am and it’s strictly over 23’s only.

The Government announcement earlier this week that nightclubs could reopen and it has been followed by a frenzy of excitement, as venues finalised plans and made last-minute preparations for the return of revellers.

Like all other nightclubs, it has been closed since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.

Nightclubs and venues are allowed have up to 1,500 people standing in their premises, with the new rule saying the rest must be seated.
