A 10-year-old boy is missing from his home and has not been seen since last night.
A huge police search is underway to find Lewis Edwards, who lives in the Cheshire village of Styal.
Police are currently scouring the area, near Wilmslow.
The schoolboy left his house on his bike on Styal Road at around 7.30pm, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Officers later found his bicycle in the Styal area.
Lewis has links to neighbouring Wythenshawe. Police believe he could be heading that way.
He is 4ft 6, of slim build and has short, dark blonde hair with two stripes shaved onto the side.
Lewis was wearing a purple t-shirt and jeans when he left his home.
Neighbours are being asked to check their gardens, garages and sheds in case Lewis has been staying there overnight.
Residents said there was a large police presence on Hollin Road at the junction with Styal Road.
Numerous police cars, search and rescue teams as well as the police helicopter were seen in the area.
Chief Insp Jez Taylor, who is co-ordinating the search for Lewis, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned as Lewis has not been seen since yesterday evening.
“He has links to the Wythenshawe area, and he may be travelling in that direction.
“Searches are currently ongoing, and residents are asked to keep an eye out for Lewis and check their gardens and outbuildings in case he has been staying there overnight.
“If you have any information as to his whereabouts please contact the team here are Cheshire Police.”
