Massive maze attraction opening in Gloucestershire with Star Wars, Frozen and Paw Patrol labyrinths

With lockdown measures being eased further by the Government, families will be on the lookout for activities which are both fun and safe.

If your idea of an enjoyable afternoon out is trying to navigate your way out of a giant maze you're in luck, as an attraction near Bristol has unveiled its reopening plans.

Elton Giant Mazes in Gloucestershire is reopening on Saturday, July 18 with three huge labyrinths for people to try and escape, each with the theme of 'adventure films'.

There will be a Star Wars R2-D2 maze, a Frozen Olaf maze and a Paw Patrol maze, as well a smaller activities maze filled with obstacles and quiz boxes for the more daring visitors.

There will be a number of safety measures in place to protect people from Covid-19, including wider paths and passing points in each maze to allow for social distancing, hand sanitiser stations and table service at the on-site restaurant.

The attraction, which first opened its doors in 2002, is set within 12 acres of stunning Forest of Dean countryside an hour's drive from Bristol.

A spokesperson said: "The 2020 Elton Giant Mazes will be opening on Saturday July 18 from 10.30am.

"We will remain open seven days a week until early September."

Elton Giant Mazes is located at Elton Farm, A4151, Newnham.
