A major city centre store has announced it will close its doors for good, after a decade in business.

Although Deichmann is one of the leading shoe traders in Europe, it remains an independent family business since it first opened in 1913.

As well as selling its own brand footwear, the chain also stocks well-known brands such as adidas, Nike and Puma.
