A huge jobs fair with more than 1,500 roles on offer is taking place at Cabot Circus this week.
Recruiters from 60 companies are taking part in the event on Wednesday (12 June), with full-time and part-time jobs available.
Companies attending include Amazon, Avon Fire and Rescue, Bristol Energy, Computershare, eXPD8, Hays, Hinkley Point, HMRC, LIDL, McDonald’s, Simpson Law UK, Sodexo, St Monica Trust and TK Maxx.
Some employers will also be offering apprenticeships, which are open to all ages, and there will be opportunities to talk to organisations about training courses and support.
Councillor Anna Keen, cabinet member with responsibility for education and skills, said: “This is a great opportunity for people who are looking for work to get to speak directly to employers and ask questions and get advice.
"As a Learning City our priority is to work together across the city to promote learning and skills, and this is another example of that partnership work in action.”
The event has been organised by Bristol City Council, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and the National Careers Service.
The Cabot Circus Jobs Fair is one of 12 jobs fairs that take place each year, but it has the highest number of employers and opportunities.
It is the third year Cabot Circus has hosted the event in Bristol.
The fair takes place in the central plaza of Cabot Circus from 11am to 3pm.
