A "massive" Galentines Day party will take place inside Pickering's Gin distillery at Edinburgh's Summerhall – and the cocktails will be flowing.
Those at Pickering's say the event has been organised as a "celebration of all the people in our lives who make us smile and bring us joy – not just our gal pals but family, friends, partners, colleagues and everyone in between".
The event will take place at 7pm on Thursday, 13 February – the day before Valentines Day, of course, and there will be plenty of food, drinks (it is a gin distillery, after all) and even some live music.
Pickering's has also launched a special, limited-edition Forget Me Not gin to mark the most romantic time of the year, and those who head along to the Galentines event will get to try it out.
In addition people will have the chance to wax dip their own Forget Me Not miniature bottles before taking them home at the end of the night – a cracking keepsake from their galentines night out.
Tickets, which cost £20, include two Pickering Peacocktails, a gin and tonic, nibbles and tastings and the wax-dipping experience.
