Massive concert featuring biggest hits from 80s and 90s coming to Bristol's Blaise Castle

A stunning location in Bristol will play host to an evening of nostalgic belters this summer.

Ticket-holders can expect to hear the biggest hits from arguably the two best decades of music at the 80s Anthems vs 90s Club Classics event.

Taking place on August 21 at the Blaise Castle Estate, the event features two live acts who both know how to get the party started: The Wild Boys and Rhythm of The 90s.

People can expect to hear a raft of 80s bangers from the first act with covers of Duran Duran, Bon Jovi, Wham!, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Simple Minds, INXS, Culture Club, Madonna and more to warm things up.

As their name suggests, the second act are known for performing the greatest hits from the decade which gave birth to some of the most seminal dance music of all time.

Since forming in 2012 Rhythm of The 90s have taken the UK and Europe by storm. Made up of some of the top session players in the industry with more than 120 years experience between them, they have "created something special and unique," said a spokesperson for the event.

Over the years they have been invited to play at some of the largest festivals around including Glastonbury, Isle of Wight, Latitude Festival and more.

During their two-hour set, revellers can expect to hear covers of the biggest floor fillers around with covers of Fatboy Slim, Ultra Nate, Faithless, Baby D, Livin’ Joy, The Chemical Brothers and others.

A spokesperson said: "80s Anthems Vs 90s Club Classics has exploded across the UK including huge performances at Glastonbury Festival, Isle of Wight Festival, Victorious Festival and Latitude Festival amongst others.

"Bring a picnic and get ready to dance the night away…"
