Police have been pictured hauling massive bags of cannabis from a Scots hotel following a drugs bust.
Forensic officers were spotted earlier today removing the substantial stash of drugs from the Highlander Hotel on West Church Street in Buckie, Moray.
Cops stood guard outside the closed down hotel on the residential street as officers wearing white boiler suits removed the bagged up drugs and crammed them into their van.
Cops told yesterday how they had found cannabis with an estimated street value of £753,000 stashed away in the hotel following a tip-off on Sunday.
Two men, aged 27 and 34, were arrested and have now been charged in connection with drug supply offences.
They were due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court yesterday.
Detective Sergeant Scott McKay, of Aberdeen CID, said local 'intelligence' had led to the bust.
He said: "This enforcement action was carried out after receiving intelligence of a cannabis cultivation in the area and resulted in a significant seizure of the drug.
"We remain committed to disrupting the illegal supply of drugs in our communities and we will use every tool and tactic at our disposal to remove them from our streets.
"But we can't tackle this criminal behaviour alone.
"The public continue to play a vital role in assisting investigations into drug crime and I would encourage anyone who has any concerns about drug-related activity, or has any information about those involved in drugs, to contact police."
