A crack pilot was forced to make a spectacular landing as powerful winds buffeted the world's largest passenger plane as it neared the runway.
In footage of the hair-raising approach to Manchester Airport, the Airbus A380 can be seen rocking from side to side.
The wings of the plane rise and fall as the jet hurtles towards the runway, forcing the pilot to fight to keep it steady.
Luckily they manage to keep the plane under control as it flies perimeter fence and touches down on the tarmac, Manchester Evening News reported.
The challenging landing, which was captured by YouTube channel AviationUpClose , came on Tuesday as Storm Atiyah battered the airport with 43mph winds.
As well as providing challenging conditions for the country's pilots, the storm wreaked havoc across large parts of the UK and Ireland.
Large tracts of County Kerry in the Republic of Ireland were plunged into darkness following a massive fault, which left 10,000 homes without power.
Waves off the coast of the southwest county reached a staggering 42ft.
Two HGVs were also knocked over on the A1 as the wind and rain moved across the British Isles.
The lorries were travelling along the A1 when the incident happened between Innerwick and Skateraw in East Lothian at around 7.45am, leaving the road blocked in both directions.
Heavy rain also caused flooding in northern parts of the UK including Glasgow.
While the worst of the weather has now blown away, more disruption has been forecast.
Two cold weather warnings have been issued for election day tomorrow with travel disruption potentially on the way.
The Met Office is predicting ice and wintry showers in some areas of the country and has warned people that surfaces could be slippy.
One of the yellow warnings stretches from Perth, north through central Scotland, to Wick, and the other, further south, covers an area between Thornhill and Lanark.
Both are in place from 6pm today to 10am tomorrow, making it very chilly for the general election .
The alert comes thanks to an Icelandic blizzard, which could mean snow in some parts.
