Mass brawls broke out at Portobello beach after crowds of sun-worshipers swarmed the area today.
Police were called out after more than 100 youngsters headed down to enjoy the warm weather.
Several police vans sent to the town after fighting started amongst groups of youths as temperatures soared to 30C.

Images emerged on social media of a brawl on Bath Street, which links the beach to the High Street.
Police Scotland said one male was arrested following the incident, which was witnessed by families and prompted several onlookers to dial 999.
A force spokeswoman said: “At about 5.25pm officers in Edinburgh responded to reports of a disturbance in the Portobello area.
“This was centred around the beach and High Street.”
