Mass brawl between rowing neighbours spills over into the street

A mass brawl between a group of neighbours spilled over into the street in Belle Vale last night prompting a police response.

The fight , believed to have been between a large group of men and women, broke out at around 10.30pm on School Close in Belle Vale.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman confirmed this morning that the "large police presence" reported by one witness was in response to a "large scale fight and neighbour dispute".

One resident's front window was damaged as part of the brawl, with the offenders understood to have fled the scene before police arrived.

The usually quiet cul de sac is located just off Nayorsfield Drive, just a short distance from Childwall Valley Road.

Investigations are currently ongoing to establish the exact circumstances around the incident.

In a brief statement shared with the ECHO , a Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "Officers were called to School Close, Liverpool following reports of a large scale fight at 10.30pm last night between a group of both men and women.

"There was some damage made to the front window of one person’s house.

"The offenders are believed to have made off prior to police arrival. House to house enquiries and wider investigations are currently ongoing."

Anyone that witnessed the fight or knows who is responsible for the damage made to the property is urged to DM @MerPolCC or call 101 quoting 19100354475.
