Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount would fit in at either Barcelona or Real Madrid.
That's the verdict of the Chelsea star's former team-mate at Vitesse Arnhem, Mitchell Van Bergen.
The pair played alongside each other in the 2017-18 season, when Mount was on loan at Vitesse, where he made 39 appearances in all competitions, scoring 14 goals for the Dutch side.
And Van Bergen has heaped praise on the 20-year-old, who he believes has the ability to "reach the absolute top", adding that he is not surprised by his performances at Chelsea so far this season.
“Mason sees much in advance. If he does not have the ball, he knows exactly where to go and with ball possession he immediately makes the right choices. With his viewing behaviour, he is really at a high level," he said, speaking with Dutch media NOS.
"I watch Chelsea more often because of him. He got his chance there and caught it. And also with the English national team he is knocking on the door. That doesn't surprise me.
“Mason is going to reach the absolute top. In the Premier League he will be a complete player and I see him eventually ending up at Barcelona or Real Madrid. I think he will fit there.”
Mount, who has scored four goals in 12 appearances so far this season for Chelsea, has been named in the Blues' starting line up for the clash with Ajax in the Champions League this evening (Wednesday).
