It has been an impressive few weeks for Chelsea on the road.
After a 4-0 opening day defeat at Manchester United, it looked like it could be a tough season for Chelsea and new head coach Frank Lampard.
But since then, the Blues have recorded four wins away from home in all competitions, with their latest success - a 4-1 victory at Southampton on Sunday - being their third straight away win in the Premier League since that Old Trafford clash.
And the goals have been flowing for Chelsea away from home too, with 12 goals in the wins at Norwich (2-3), Wolves (2-5) and Southampton (1-4).
Midfielder Mason Mount has scored in each of those victories, and he admitted that things have been going well for him and the Blues in recent weeks, particularly away from home, after that disappointment on the opening weekend.
"We look back at that [Man United] game and to lose 4-0 is not good, but we took a lot of positives from the game and we did not think it was a 4-0," he said, speaking to Chelsea's official website .
"We bounced back and now we are in fifth position and we just need to keep working hard and hopefully we can get the three points every game.
"We have been playing well and having that big result in the Champions League [a 2-1 win away against Lille], that really helped us out. It has been going well away from home."
However, Mount insists that there is still room for improvement for the Blues, particularly in defence.
Sunday's game at St Mary's was the seventh league game this season in which the Blues have conceded, and Mount said that is something they must look to address.
"There are little things to work on, like conceding [against Southampton] to go 2-1, which made it a tough period of the game," he said.
"So there are things we can work on, but away from home we have been very good."
