Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has explained why he believes Mohamed Salah is one of the best players in the world.
Salah has been in superb form so far this season, scoring 22 goals in 25 appearances across all competitions for the Reds.
Having scored in 10 consecutive games for Liverpool at the start of the campaign, the forward has been instrumental in his side’s impressive form so far this season.
That form has also led to him being branded by many in the game as the best player in the world at this moment in time.

And speaking ahead of Chelsea’s game with Liverpool on Sunday, Mount has labelled Salah a “big, big player who turns up in the big games and scores big goals”.
“There’s a few, I think, that you can put out there, but I think the amount of goals he’s scoring, the assists he’s getting, I think Mo Salah would definitely be up there,” he told Amazon Prime Sport.
“He’s a big, big player who turns up in the big games and scores big goals.
"He’s setting the bar very, very high and I think as a player you want to be able to do that.
"He’s setting the bar very very high at the moment.”
