Manchester United youngster Mason Greenwood has revealed Daniel James and Jesse Lingard are the two funniest players at the club.
With the Premier League currently postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak, Greenwood took some time to play FIFA 20 with Twitch streamer Edwin ‘Castro1021’ Castro - who has over 2.2million followers and 82million views on the platform.
During their game of FIFA, Castro asked Greenwood who the two funniest players in the United squad were.
Greenwood named summer signing James and Lingard as the two main jokers at the club.
“Funniest? Dan James and Jesse. Both of them.” he said.
The 18-year-old’s choice of kit and manager caused a frenzy during the live stream.
Castro’s viewers pointed out the United star was using the Real Madrid kit and had Zinedine Zidane as his manager leading to jokes a move to the Spanish side is in the offing.
Greenwood laughed off their claims but apologised for using Zidane in the dugout. For the next game, he quickly switched his kit to the United home shirt.
The United star was also asked which legendary player he would love to have played alongside and the youngster opted for iconic Brazilian forward Ronaldo.
“R9,” he said. “I used to watch him when I was a kid. His stepovers and body feints.
“[He inspired me to play football] and [Wayne] Rooney as well.”
