Mason Greenwood compared to Manchester United favourite after another goal vs Partizan

Mason Greenwood continued his rise at Manchester United with his third senior goal of the season against FK Partizan on Thursday.

Greenwood has now scored twice in the Europa League this season as well as his strike against Rochdale in the Carabao Cup. His goal against Partizan saw him collect a lovely Marcus Rashford through-ball, check back to take a defender out of the game, before wrong-footing the goalkeeper to score at the near post.

He was later involved as he closed down an attempted clearance which fell into the patch of Anthony Martial, who took on three players to score United's second.

Greenwood's composure in front of goal continues to impress fans, who are predicting a bright future at Old Trafford for the prolific academy striker.

And once again, the nature of the teenager's goal drew comparisons with former United forward Robin van Persie as fans noticed similarities with the finishing and body shape after Greenwood's latest strike.
