Mason Crosby does the Lambeau Leap after hitting game-winning FG

Kickers don’t often get chances to do the Lambeau Leap, but Green Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby wasn’t going to miss his primetime opportunity.

The veteran kicker nailed a 23-yard field goal as time expired to complete the Packers’ comeback win over the Detroit Lions on Monday night at Lambeau Field. Once the kick sailed through the uprights, Crosby sprinted toward the stands and did his best attempt at a Lambeau Leap.

The 35-year-old needed some help from long snapper Hunter Bradley to get into the stands, but a Lambeau Leap is still a Lambeau Leap, especially after making a game-winning field goal.

Crosby, who missed five kicks in a loss to the Lions in Detroit last season, made all five kick attempts Monday night, including both field goals.

Crosby now has back-to-back game-winning kicks on Monday Night Football. Last year, Crosby’s field goal lifted the Packers to win over the San Francisco 49ers.
