The Masked Singer judges 'storm off stage' as politician unveiled

Two judges on The Masked Singer walked off as Rudy Giuliani was revealed as one of the show’s contestants.

Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke reportedly stormed off stage in the US version of the show when Donald Trump ’s former lawyer shed his ice cream cone costume to show his identity.

The panel and audience were shocked to see the 77-year-old on the show, which is due to air in the US from next month.

Nicole Scherzinger and Jenny McCarthy, the two other judges on the show, stayed and reportedly “bantered” with Giuliani as Jeong and Thicke went off.

The two men are reported to have returned later and also chatted with Giuliani.

The former New York mayor became a controversial figure in the 2020 US election as he said the vote had been stolen by Joe Biden. He faces several lawsuits over his unfounded claims.

They include a billion-dollar defamation case filed by Dominion Voting Systems, accusing him of spreading baseless allegations the firm rigged the election.

Giuliani was Trump’s greatest loyalist but the election loser turned on his lawyer as he failed to overturn the results.

In 2020 Giuliani was in Sacha Baron Cohen’s mockumentary Borat Subsequent MovieFilm.

It showed the lawyer lying on a bed with his hands in his trousers after asking a young actress impersonating a reporter for her telephone number and address.

He later said he had been tucking his shirt in after removing microphone wires.

He said the scene was designed to discredit him after his recent attacks on Biden and his family.

Season seven of America’s The Masked Singer has the theme The Good, The Bad and The Cuddly, and is expected to air from March 9.
