Masked Singer star Rita Ora continues to flirt with the Chameleon as viewers guess his identity

Rita Ora is literally drooling over one of the Masked Singer contestants after being impressed by his figure hugging costume.

The 29-year-old chart topping pop beauty had her breath taken away by the sight of a chameleon on the bizarre ITV singing competition last weekend - which disguises celebrities with elaborate outfits.

As show host Joel Dommet, 34, introduced ‘The Chameleon’ for a sing off against ‘The Hedgehog’, Hot Right Now singer Rita got rather hot under the collar as she ogled and admired the mystery contestant.

The mystery singer wore skin tight fabric which could be seen clinging tightly to every inch of their body - while LED lights added extra pizazz to the outfit.

“Look at the swagger!” co-judge Davina McCall, 52, gasped as the contestant appeared on stage.

But Rita was spellbound, squealing: “He looks fit! I never thought I would fancy a chameleon!”

Fellow judge Jonathan Ross, 59, mocked the tight fitting outfit.

Rita (and viewers watching at home) were quite taken by the Chameleon (ITV)

"Chameleon's are supposed to disappear, I can see EVERYTHING in that outfit,” the veteran talk-show host laughed.

Viewers at home were also taken by the brightly coloured performer.

“Completely distracted from the singing by Chameleons massive bulge,” one astonished viewer wrote on Twitter.

Some fans think they have already guessed the identity of the singer, however.

Many took to social media to suggest the man under the mask could be Declan Donnelly of Ant and Dec fame after hearing him sing Creep by Radiohead as his first song, with a distinctly Geordie twang to his performance.

Other clues given by the mystery celeb also seem to hint at Dec being the face behind the mask, including his having "many talents" and a background as "a dazzling urban act".

Whoever it is "once provided the voice of a children’s cartoon character" the character teased.

One viewer tweeted: “who thinks the chameleon is Dec? I’m still convinced that it could be, the voice sounded like him at times and the clue was he voiced a cartoon character and obviously Dec voiced Engie Benjy."

The Masked Singer continues tonight on ITV at 7pm.
