Masked Singer's Traffic Cone 'rumbled' by eagle-eyed fans after huge sports clue

The Masked Singer UK series three returned for a second episode on Sunday night, as six new faces prepared to take to the stage.

But one character in particular got viewers talking, as many viewers quickly believed they knew who was behind the mask.

Traffic Cone took to the stage and was surrounded by construction men, as they showed off their moves.

As the panel Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan, Rita Ora and Davina McCall got guessing again, viewers at home shared their predictions on Twitter.

After dropping several sports-related clues, the judges were convinced it could be Chris Kamara or Alistair Brownlee, thanks to the Olympic gold triathlon champion reference from Mo.

Meanwhile, viewers are certain it's Tom Jones behind the mask.

One person wrote on Twitter: "Tom Jones IS traffic cone."

A second shared: "TRAFFIC CONE is definitely Tom Jones. I remember him saying on the Voice he worked in Constriction before he made it big!"

Giving their final clue, the celebrity said: "I made my money taking my top off."

On Saturday night, Chandelier was the first character to be unmasked in the first episode of series three.

Heather Small was revealed to be the mystery celebrity under the costume, leaving the judges in shock.

She confessed she put on a voice to disguise her own distinctive vocals, meaning no one guessed it was her.

As viewers guessed away at home, no one successfully worked out Heather was Chandelier.

Instead, guesses included Jane McDonald, Elaine Paige, Rachel Riley and Debbie McGee.

Speaking about doing the show, Heather said: "I’d seen Gabrielle and Joss Stone saying how much fun it was and in these most challenging of times a little bit fun is good for everyone."

On keeping it all a secret, she added: "I would say it is difficult, especially when you are with one of the nosiest people on the planet – my mother!"

The Masked Singer UK continues Saturday at 7pm on ITV.
