Masked Singer's Robobunny sparks bizarre theory from confused viewers

The Masked Singer's Robobunny sparked a bizarre theory from some viewers on Saturday night who were left convinced there was two people in the costume.

After proving to be a massive ratings winner for ITV with its first two series, the crazy talent show returned for a third run on New Year's Day and Robobunny was the second contestant to perform in front of the panel.

And, after listening to them sing Whitney Houston's Saving All My Love You, some fans were left in doubt that it was two people hiding in The Masked Singer' s best costume yet.

Throwing some names into the ring, one tweeted: "First thoughts … #robobunny is KSI & Babatunde, it’s got to be two people!"

A second reacted: "It's clearly two people, but not sure who yet," and another posted: " #RoboBunny has to be two people! Keep an eye out if they stay in the competition.. i think one of the carrots was the other voice!"

TheMasked Singer judges were just as flummoxed as the millions watching the show at home, with Rita Ora guessing Elon Musk and Jonathan Ross claiming he thought it might be Drake.

Other stars to have their names linked with being Robobunny from the get-go included Westlife singer Mark Feehily, rapper Tinchy Stryder and a string of divers and contestants on ITV reality show Splash, including Tom Daley, Richard Whitehead, Martin Offiah and Keith Duffy.

While no-one is sure who Robobunny is yet, we'll definitely get to see him, or them, sing again, as they won their first round sing-off against Mushroom.

Guesses for Mushroom ranged from everyone from The Chase's Jenny Ryan to music legend Sinead O'Connor.
