One song lyric was all it took for Queen Bee's identity to be 'revealed' on Saturday night's The Masked Singer and many fans are convinced they've guessed right.
Since the crazy ITV show kicked off at the start of the month, Queen Bee is the act who has gathered the most opinions, with a host of candidates put forward on social media.
Prior to Saturday's semi-final, viewers think they had it down to to people - Jade Thirlwall from Little Mix and former Girls Aloud member Nicola Roberts. And it's Nicola that has now been named as a certainty after a song lyric clue gave away her idenity. In her VT, Queen Bee spoke about enjoying spending time in France before adding "maybe I should stick with England as French is a language I can't speak."
Now any Girls Aloud fans watching will have been alerted straight away to the group's famous single Can't Speak French. And many viewers took to Twitter to say she is signed, sealed, delivered Nicola. One tweeted: "if the queen bee on masked singer isnt nicola roberts i want a refund," and another reacted "I saw this post about Jade Thirwall being the Queen Bee on Masked Singer UK and when I listened to a performance, it made me realize that these kids these days do not know the impact and legacy of Girls Aloud because that voice is 100% Nicola Roberts’."
A third posted "Nicola Roberts is 100% queen bee in the masked singer and just gotta say can’t speak french is a certified banger."
