Masked Singer's Poodle 'rumbled' by viewers as James Blunt by two clues

Twitter was full of declarations from Masked Singer viewers sure that Poodle was singer James Blunt.

As the ITV show continued on Sunday night, Poodle sent social media into a frenzy with all manner of clues cropping up in their intro VT, before they belted out Elton John's Rocketman.

While the dog collars featuring different Queens' names, led many people, including Mo Gilligan down the drag queen route, with the comedian guessing Paul O'Grady, fans of James were convinced they were a nod to the singer's military career.

And then the beauty salon immediately threw up the possibility of a nod to James' massive hit single You're Beautiful.

Taking to Twitter as the panel gave their guesses, one Masked Singer viewer posted: "Poodle sounds like James Blunt!! Queens = Queens Guard.... Beauty Salon = You're Beautiful."

Picking up on the dog collar clue, another reacted: "James Blunt served in the army… for Queen and country? Could be poodle," with a third commenting: "Poodle is James Blunt. That performance was beautiful, it's true."

Other names thrown up on Twitter included Gary Barlow and RuPaul's Drag UK winner The Vivienne, while Davina McCall, picking up on Poodle's height, predicting it could be Rylan Clark.

And the 'fabuloooous' remark in the intro also saw many people become confident that Poodle could either be Craig Revel-Horwood or John Barrowman, with both men famous for that catchphrase.

Other viewers took the Queens' names on the dog tags to be a nod to the famous group and singer Adam Lambert, who has toured with them over the past few years.
