Masked Singer's Blob exposed as Lenny Henry in double elimination

Blob on The Masked Singer UK was finally unmasked as Sir Lenny Henry on Saturday, during a double elimination.

It comes after Viking was revealed to be Morten Harket just moment earlier.

The star was exposed after taking off their costume, leaving everyone stunned - while some fans claimed to have guessed the truth.

The second elimination left many thrilled to see Lenny on the stage, while some had worked out it was him thanks to his recognisable voice.

Sausage, Blob, Viking, Harlequin, Badger, Dragon and Robin all performed one more time, dropping new clues as they did.

Unfortunately it was Blob, Viking, and Dragon in the bottom three, with Viking first to go.

Judges, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, Rita Ora and Mo Gilligan had to choose who to save, and they sent home Blob.

As he removed the mask, they all screamed as they couldn't believe it was him - while Davina had guessed so moments before.

Viewers and the judges have been sharing their guesses for weeks.

But there was a double twist in the latest episode, as host Joel Dommett announced two characters would be leaving.

There are now five characters left on the show.

Names including Aston Merrygold, Sheridan Smith and Stacey Solomon are on the list of those believed to be taking part.

The clues across the past few weeks have helped, but also confused those trying to work out who everyone is.

Each week the acts have been singing new songs and dropping new hints, and while some identities appear to have been rumbled others are leaving fans puzzled.

The Masked Singer UK airs Saturdays at 7pm on ITV.
