Masked robbers threaten staff with knife at Leeds Nisa store

Police are on the hunt for three masked armed robbers who targeted a shop in Leeds and stole cigarettes and cash.

At around 7.50pm on Sunday, December 20, police were called to reports of an armed robbery at a Nisa store in Easterly Road, near Harehills.

Two masked men, one armed with a knife, entered the shop and threatened staff while the third remained outside.

The robbers made off on foot with cash and cigarettes. No one was injured during the robbery.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a shop in Leeds.

"The incident involved three masked men. One remained outside the shop and two men, one armed with a knife, entered the premises and threatened staff."

Enquiries are continuing and anyone with any information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact Leeds District CID via 101 quoting crime reference 13200635522 or online.

Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
