Masked Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright enjoy picnic on idyllic Majorca getaway

Lovebirds Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright defied any fears of the latest coronavirus outbreaks in Spain on Thursday as they took to the ocean for a cosy picnic with friends.

The pair were spotted heading out to sea in Magaluf with a small entourage and a picnic basket.

Former Corrie star Michelle, 33, was spotted donning a mask and was overheard joking with a pal "I don't want to catch coronavirus" as she left her hotel to board a small skiff, which took her party out to another boat waiting for them at anchor.

She looked casual and as pretty as ever in a short white dress and sandals with her hair done up in a casual bun.

Mark, 33, joined her a little while later with some friends and was seen boarding the skiff with a quaint little hamper.

He looked casual in a white shirt and denim shorts but opted not to wear a mask which is not essential when at the beach in Majorca.

It is the latest stop on what seems to be a Mediterranean tour for the glamorous couple who were snapped looking loved-up in posh Marbella five days ago.

The couple seem to be making the most of their freedom, after spending months locked down in their Essex home together.

In a radio interview in May, Michelle admitted lockdown had been tough so was no doubt ecstatic to get out onto the ocean.

She said: “I feel like it's been six months already.

"One day I'm fed up, I have a tantrum about it and I miss my family, but then on another day I think, 'You know what, we're actually in a good position'.

"We're at home… We've got a garden to go into, we've got food in the fridge, we're very lucky."
